Chuck
Beasley is the band's leader, lead alto sax player, and chief musical
arranger. The band's classic big band sound can be attributed to Chuck,
who has arranged the majority of the songs the band plays on a regular
basis.
Chuck has been playing in big bands professionally after leaving the Air Force at the end World War II. He is also an experienced music educator with over 20 years of teaching experience. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music from MacPhail Center for Music. Chuck has also studied at the Doctoral level at North Texas State University.
